The professional body representing Electronic and Manual Notetakers.   

Members are often funded and are all qualified and trained to take notes for people who are D/deaf, deafened, hard of hearing, deafblind people and for people with disabilities – for people who do not take notes for themselves.

Looking for lipreading classes ?

Classes are for anyone who struggles to hear. They are often – and more accurately – called ‘Lipreading and Managing Hearing Loss’ classes. ATLA (the Association of Teachers of Lipreading to Adults) is the only organisation in the UK dedicated to teaching this valuable skill.

Our Drop-In-Service is available every Monday 10am-12pm for 1:1 communication support.

Our Job Club will give D/deaf people in the Greater Manchester area the chance to meet other people who are also looking for work.
