Bloomsbury Women (With Diane Burstein)
This walk looks at some of the women who have shaped the history of this fascinating area. Hear about the women of the Bloomsbury Set who “lived in squares and loved in triangles” including sisters the writer Virginia Woolf and the artist Vanessa Bell. We will also meet the sisters who changed women’s lives in the worlds of politics and medicine. We will finish at the British Library to admire the architecture and hear of some famous women whose work is on display in their galleries.
We meet at Russell Square tube station. Tbc
Tbc = meet points will depend on tfl lines being open and not closed for engineering works.
